Tried for the 1st time. The cheesesteaks were amazing! My son had a pizza slice perfectly done. Nice crust with great tasting cheese. My mom had an anti-pasta salad with an order of garlic knots. I couldn't resist trying a garlic knot. Oh my word...they were delicious!!! The salad looked great with lots of shredded cheese and ham. I would've liked to see more mushrooms but not a deal breaker. I will be back to try more things for sure.

Very stingy on the pepperoni on the pizza.

Food is decent, but do not order delivery if you want your food within an hour . So by the time you get your food it is barely warm.

We've been pretty regular customers (1-2xs/wk) since we moved close by 2 months ago. Pizza is really good but tonight it took then over an hour to deliver! 75 min to get a pepperoni pizza delivered a mile away...seriously? And of course it was barely warm by the time it arrived. What's going on with your drivers Westshore? I doubt we'll be returning.

Let me start by saying that I'm a very picky and skeptical person. Upon entering the door we were warmly greeted by the owner Donovan, he was so friendly and inviting. He definitely shows you old school customer service, something that's definitely lacking in many businesses these days. He has a great special for $6: 2 slices and a soda. Now that can't be beat any where else. We ordered an Extra Large half and half pizza: Hawaiian and The Works. It was $19 but it was worth more than that in my books. The pizza was the BEST I've ever eaten in my life. Thin crust, just enough sauce and oooh SO much ingredients. They did not skimp on the ingredients, I've never had a Hawaiian with SO much ham and pineapple. I'm beyond HAPPY with this establishment and I only wished they were in South Florida. I will happily be a repeat customer. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you Donovan for an exceptional service, experience and pizza. Robertha and Rusly (Truckers)

Well, we've been waiting an hour and a half and they're still not here. The shop is pretty much down the street. After it had been an hour and ten minutes, I called to check up. They said it was sitting on the counter. Really? Ok. Cut to another 40 minutes. No pizza. The guy on the phone was incredulous, and he insisted that the driver was at my house. I looked out the window. No driver. I asked to cancel the order. The guy on the phone seemed annoyed and told us to hold on and wait, even though we were already late in leaving for an appointed meet up. The intent was to eat before leaving, not as we were running out the door. There were no apologies, no efforts made to retrieve our business, nothing. They were just angry that we had the nerve to be angry. What would a 2-hour pizza taste like, anyway? This is the 2nd time we have tried Westshore. The first time, we had 20 hungry people waiting for food, and we called twice to ask where our pizza was. The first time, they did not tell us about any kinks in the system such as, oh, maybe our driver getting into a car accident. The pizza took over 2 hours, because our driver got into an accident. This, I sort of understand. But there needs to be some communication and crisis-control involved that would have gotten another driver to our house while the first driver took care of his emergency. Nope, that poor guy still had to deliver our pizza, after being in a car accident with said pizza in the car. How was the actual pizza? I can say, without blinking an eye, that this was the absolute WORST pizza we have ever tasted in our entire lives. No amount of parmesan, sriracha, or pot could possibly made this thing taste edible. It was just gross, and I've failed at many attempts to make my own pizza. I still ate them. This one went in the garbage.

Delivery time has improved and food is hot on delivery. Great improvement. Could cut down on the high price though, maybe add some specials

AWFUL!!! Under new management and the quality has plummeted. Ordered a mushroom pizza and antipasta salad. There were almost NO mushrooms and we ordered extra pepperoni on the salad, there was almost NO meat. My family has been ordering for years. JUST TERRIBLE!! Stay clear!!

First, do not be fooled by the entertaining gentleman with the sign at the corner of the shopping center. He is an excellent showman, but this serves as a mere smokescreen for the business. "Pizza, any way you want, $9.99" reads the sign! Just ignore the smaller font mentioning the limit of one topping (premium toppings excluded.) I guess it reads better than "hey, cheap pepperoni over here!" Despite all of this, we wanted to give these guys the benefit of the doubt. Any local joint must be better than a chain, right? Right... Six months later and we have given up. Not a single order has been right. Granted, a few have been of the sorry-we-forgot-your-jalapenos kind. Unfortunately, most have been along the lines of the oops-you-didnt-mention-you-wanted-that-stromboli-much-above-raw caliber. At least their sign guy is still entertaining at red lights!

I've been hitting up this Westshore Pizza whenever I'm hanging out on 54th South or perhaps when I'm with my boys down on 49th Street South. I've started to become familiar with some of the employees here and I must say that the general manager--a young fellow named Jordan, I believe--certainly knows how to run a pizzeria! And wouldn't you know, one time I ordered two large pizzas (they have such great multi-pizza specials!) and I open my door to see that nice young manager delivered the pizzas himself! And he didn't even say anything when I opened the door in my kimono! This location has never made my orders anything less than satisfactory: the olives are always jet-black (that means they're super fresh!) and their bacon is delicious (it's shredded!) Please make sure you give this place a try. They don't deliver me a DiGiorno, that's for sure! ;P

I picked up our order because I needed a few things from Publix. Seems most of the negative reviews are re: delivery and service. As for the food....it tastes like NY pizza! Well seasoned and the right balance of cheese. The sauce is on the sweet side for those who are aficionados. The white pizza is excellent. We will def go here over a chain any day.

After over 10 times ordering from here and a lot of $$ spent, it is safe to say that the $$ was wasted. I've been extremely disappointed with this Westshore. Three times it has taken over an hour to receive our food and none of the times has the order been correct. They will charge you for what you order over the phone but deliver you all the wrong items or forget to put important ingredients like cheese on their garlic cheese bread and substitute out ziti for spaghetti because they seem to always be out of spaghetti??! This is my first ever one-star review. It's true, the MJ sign guy out front is the only good thing this chain has going for them. Very entertaining, makes you think "oh yeah, I'll order pizza tonight!" But trust me, call the Papa or the Hut instead.

BUYER BEWARE - They advertise one price & charge more. AND the pizza is not that good. They advertise "$10 large ANY WAY YOU WANT" then want $26 for two pizza's. I will NEVER step through the doors again. The store in Tampa on Westshore Blvd. is the real deal. These shmucks don't deserve the name on the façade. WESTSHORE CORPORATE - YOU NEED TO DEAL WITH THESE LOSERS.

First off I would like to say... NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER ORDER FROM HERE... My family and I have ordered from here 8 times within the past 4 months. Each order being over $50. Each time we have ordered various things.. and each time they have Messer up at least one of the dishes.. first time forgot the 2 liter drink... ehh.. no biggie.. understandable. Then every single order after that they have sent us stromboli that has raw dough!!!!! These things are almost $20 a pop and they can't even get that right... today was the last straw.. called spoke with their manager and he told me I'd need to pay half price to have another one delivered? ??? Excuse me... but I need to fork up more money because a pizza place can't properly cook a stromboli? ?!??!?! That's obsurd.. I was told I could be credited the price for my next order... oh swell.. let me tell that to my 14 year old son... thank god there's a McDonald's near by... hmmm wonder what the health department is gonna say... hope your dough is made with out eggs.. because serving under cooked food to a guest.... that's a big big no no in the state of Florida's eye's. .

Westshore Pizzas are fairly standard in their notable deliciousness. Not the absolute best in every single way, but certainly a cut above. Usually a fairly big cut above. My understanding from my old local franchisee in Tampa was that they go train under a corporate headquarters that clearly gives a whit about the quality of pizza. Further, some of the parts are sourced from the central office. I think that's the rough story...in any event, it translates out to consistent quality...where somewhere like Pizza Hut is equally consistent but commoditized, more packaged and more preservatives-laden. This particular location (54th Ave S) has only done me wrong ONCE: it was on a two mediums special, and it seemed like they took the dough of one large and fashioned two mediums out of it (wimpy), threw 30% less toppings and cheese on each (gigantic crust area), and then proceeded to pull this sorry excuse for a Westshore pizza out of the oven five minutes too early (soft, doughy, odd). I have been here probably...five?...six?...times in the last year or so and every other time except the one "Discount Day" outlier (which was thoroughly disappointing, I must say) has been very good. Maybe just beware the especially good dollars-off specials...it's almost as if they know you are getting a deal and want to try to recoup some of the "losses" by cutting corners. If you are going to give a deal, give the same consistent product you always do, then there won't be complaints like this. Sheesh. Other than that, this place has been consistent with other Westshores and is our default choice for pizza on the Southside (well, that and Papa John's, now that they have decided to drop their drawers a little and let Joe Sixpack get in and out for under eighteen bucks on a single large pie with toppings...didn't used to be that way!) It's nice watching sports in the dining area and they give you the All Access Pass to the soda machine to make an extended visit not only possible but enjoyable. Recommended.
